A Voluminous Shift in Spatial Perception
Commissioned by Lacoste for the launch of the SS25 L.12.12 Light Polo, NAKED SPACE unveils a site-specific installation that floats between weightlessness and structure, in collaboration with VASTO GALLERY.
In response to Lacoste’s latest campaign—L.12.12 Light Polo: Still Iconic, Now Lightweight—NAKED SPACE presents a pneumatic installation that captures the very essence of lightness. Embraced by the supportive architecture of CASA VASTO, this work explores a new couture of spatial experience, inviting a direct and transformative shift in perception.
The installation melds air and light with tactile form, producing soft, voluminous silhouettes that breathe—expanding and contracting in delicate rhythm. Its translucent PVC membrane catches fleeting shadows, rendering a catwalk of fluid, intangible dimensions that blur the boundaries of what is seen and felt.

Balanced yet in flux, it inhabits the tension between enclosure and openness, presence and absence. The piece invites a communal form of perception: not static viewing, but being-with, hosting the ethos of the L.12.12 Light Polo—iconic in form, now reimagined through lightness with an experimental spirit.
