A Sculptural Gesture Between Object and Atmosphere
Commissioned by Uniqlo for a private encounter, NAKED SPACE unveils a garment rack installation that dissolves the line between utility and intimacy—presented within the stillness of CASA VASTO.
In a continued dialogue between object and atmosphere, NAKED SPACE presents a sculptural garment rack designed for Uniqlo’s private gathering—where form, function, and perception coalesce in a softened monolith of tactile presence.
Emerging not as display but as disruption, the structure appears at first minimal, then affective—absorbing the ambient hush of CASA VASTO while inviting a slowed, heightened engagement. Covered in fabric, shaped with geometric care, the rack becomes a frame of encounter—where choosing a garment becomes a durational act.
Through this intervention, NAKED SPACE invites not just viewing, but inhabiting—suggesting that even the smallest acts of use can become spatial rituals.
This piece resists classification. It is not furniture, not sculpture, not tool—but an atmosphere you step into. A threshold where ergonomics are cloaked in intimacy, and the ordinary gesture of touching fabric becomes a meditative pause. The softened structure holds absence. Its utility is presence.
