NAKED SPACE

NINFA FLUIDA is a group performance that highlights the intangible whirls and fluid identity the nymph embodies—a mythological figure reframed as a symbol of existence in flux. Set atop a large inflatable surface, performers danced with the water beneath them, resting their bodies lightly as if on a giant lily pad. Their movements followed the rhythm of the lake, drifting, swaying, dissolving.

Directed by OMOTESANDO, this performance draws from the fluid nature of water as a direct parallel to contemporary living. Just as nymphs inhabit a context that is endlessly shifting, we too exist within a socio-economic ecosystem that is volatile, elastic, and often beyond our control. To live now is to adapt constantly—to move with the current, not against it.

The performance was supported by SOFANOVA, NAKED SPACE’s artifact: a large inflatable pillow that treads the water’s surface gently, swaying to the rhythm of the environment. Its volume, soft and reactive, became both stage and vessel—holding the dancers while echoing their ephemerality.

NINFA FLUIDA is not simply performance—it is a breathing metaphor for survival within the unstable. It calls us to go with the flow, not as surrender, but as strategy—sensitive, resilient, and awake to change.
